The opportunity for education, the use of educational opportunities and subsequent professional qualification are the pillars for entrepreneurial thinking and acting and thus the personal and economic success of an individual, a community - ultimately an entire nation.

Why should we in Germany and the EU have such opportunities?

Doesn't everyone have a right to it? We think so!

With a small step, a step for children, you too, as a financially and professionally secure person, as a future-oriented and socially responsible person, can contribute to a better world and future through a donation or even better as a guardian angel. A future that will ultimately affect us all.

What is the philosophy of steps for children?

steps for children would like to permanently help the children and young people affected by AIDS, hunger and educational difficulties. By founding small businesses, such projects should become independent of donations. A team of voluntary experts from different areas accompanies the local people in realizing the concept. By helping them to help themselves, we support their future and that of their children.

So it's not about giving people money - it's about giving people a future, because as the Chinese philosopher Confucius (*551 BC †479 BC) said:

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day.

Teach a man to fish and you feed him for life.

And that is exactly what step for children does. On the one hand, it ensures that the children receive a future-oriented school education - but also on the other - through training and, for example, the construction of sewing workshops, solar oven production, vegetable and olive cultivation, mushroom and chicken breeding facilities, computer and copying centers through to guest and apartment houses.

The vision of steps for children is a sustainable promotion of children that is independent of donations.
